What court case?




Didn't know there was one.

This looks like it could be bigger and better than Gramalote, grades are similar but if this has copper too could be better economically and Zonte has 25% without any court case.

It's good news for zonte,now bring on the discovery hole from cross hills !

Here is the news release. The drill hole data did not come out in a good format, but drill hits like 157 meters of 0.95 g/t and 451 meters of 0.7 g/t are huge drill hits. There is probably copper too

ZONTE METALS ANNOUNCES A 25% CARRIED INTEREST IN AN ADVANCED COLOMBIAN GOLD PROPERTY OPPORTUNITY

Zonte Metals Inc. has retained a 25-per-cent carried interest in an option agreement for a gold property in western Colombia. Zonte permitted Southern Sky Resources Corp. a private company, to enter into a five-year option agreement for the Project X property, which sits in the Cordillera Occidental of Colombia, in return for its retained interest.

Project X, is an advanced gold exploration property, wherein a total of 14 historic drill holes were completed during 1997 - 1998. A summary of the significant data is located in the following table. Note, none of the drill core was located for independent verification and the drill hole assay data was taken from publicly disclosed press releases pre-National Instrument 43-101 standards and hence the data is historic in nature.

Both companies have been working together to secure the rights to the property over the last year with Southern Sky securing the five-year option agreement with a Colombian private company. Going forward, Southern Sky will be the operator and Zonte retains a 25% carried interest to a production decision in the option agreement. Zonte personnel have completed a number of due diligence visits to the property over the last 7 years. This included sampling known mineralized structures, confirming drill pads locations and confirming with the local association the previous drilling program. Geologically, the property appears to be a porphyry system with numerous breccia and vein structures. Southern Sky is in the process of mapping and sampling the property with local geological consultants and planning a geophysical survey. Southern Sky is completing a NI 43-101 document with the intention of listing on the TSXV.

Jack King, P.Geo. is the qualified person as defined by NI 43-101 and has reviewed and approved the contents and technical disclosures in this press release.

Does not matter if public or not. Newfound Gold had a very high valuation as a private company with a discovery. Now after the stock ran up in 2 months since public, it has come down but still has a $300 million market cap valuation.

When Zonte's partner comes public and does some drilling to confirm these past results, a $100M market cap or more would not be a surprise, implying a value to Zonte of $25 million, more than 2 times the current value. It will take several months for this to unfold though.

Dont get so excited about this news. Zonte has partner with a company that is not even listed on an exchange.

Just noticed Silver Bull doing a 1 for 8 reverse split. Ron S, any suggestions on how to play this one? This stock just can’t get any legs. T appears the stock will trade down this morning.

With this news this morning, we now know why the stock had so much volume in the last weeks.

Yes, with Teck putting up $10 mill, a huge vote of confidence on one hole, they obviously do not think this is a one hole wonder, good reasons for why this stock took off today. As for us ZON shareholders, this type of action is what all of us are hoping for. LOL. But it shows us all, what one hole can do for a stock. I am big on ZON for what we have in the Yukon, the Newfoundland is a bonus along with the other peripheral ventures. Hang in there everyone, one day we will all have our party.
