well a retreat from $1300, on the same old story, a rate increase, probably Gold will rally after news and big 1/4 point raise - rates still negative well below inflation rate

Looks like Gold heading to Ron's next target at $1360, seems the London fix has had some problems. It won't be long before Shanghai takes over IMO>

Would be good if this snowballs to other States

By Howard Fischer
Arizona Daily Star, Tucson
Sunday, February 12, 2017

PHOENIX, Arizona -- Arguing that federal policies have made paper money "virtually worthless," Arizona lawmakers are moving to allow residents to invest in gold coins and not have to pay state taxes on any profits they make when they sell them.

Legislation awaiting a final House vote would carve an exemption in existing laws that require people to report -- and pay taxes -- on capital gains. So, if you buy art, jewelry, or an antique car for $10,000 and sell if for $12,000, you owe the state tax on that $2,000 profit.

But Rep. Mark Finchem, R-Oro Valley, argues that's not true if your buying U.S. gold coins. He said it's simply exchanging one form of U.S. currency for another.

Sounds like the Russians got it right. Germany did not get their Gold back but got back new gold bars that the US had to buy and send them. Easily explains why it took so long, of course we all knew that anyway.

No wonder Russia keeps buying physical, they know the real truth!!

But of course Russia news in propaganda, right?

Sounds like Germany might get it's gold back sooner, by end of 2017, but still it is only half of what they are suppose to own.

Once the relocation is completed, the Bundesbank will keep 1,236 tonnes in New York, 432 tonnes in London and the rest in Frankfurt. The current move involves 300 tonnes from New York and 374 tonnes from Paris.

Are they worried about something to get it sooner?

Stan Druckenmiller, the billionaire investor with one of the best long-term track records in money management, said he bought gold in late December and January, reversing the sale he made after the U.S. presidential election.

"I wanted to own some currency and no country wants its currency to strengthen," Druckenmiller said Tuesday in an interview. "Gold was down a lot, so I bought it."

Trump, Trump, Trump, the U.S. media is fixated on this guy, No surprise that Gold has pulled back some, pretty much how Ron outlined the resistance points.

What is great is the juniors don't care, they are doing their own thing based on their own fundamentals, more normal markets are back. Gotta love it
