North American economy in retreat

China cut interest rates on Friday for a sixth time in a year to spur slowing economic growth.

The announcement came after growth slowed to a six-year low of 6.9 percent in the latest quarter, according to official figures, dragged down by weak global demand

Good point, we don't need more government spending. We need less spending and less government. All the burecracy is only choking business and the economy.

Canada is one of the few countries that did not QE and extra ordinary policies in the last few years and that is because our financial structure is more sound and our banks stronger thanks to all the nickle and dimimg fees imposed on all of us

Not sure if many on here yet. I seen the Kevin O'leary peice from the home page. I am more concerned about more Liberal spending if they get in, as they are leading in Polls in Ont. Any other thoughts here?
