So Gen, the bearish view on Gold

Doesn't think Fed or BOE would ever go to negative rates, but Fed will raise rates and is negative for Gold

Nice video here at Globe and Mail - a move and hold above $1300 looks reasonable

LOL, The Turks need to talk to the U.S. and figure out how to get the money that went into 5,000 tons of gold into stocks and bonds
“You have to find a way to encourage the citizens to invest in bank deposits, bonds and the stock market instead of gold," he said. "Traded gold doesn’t enter the economy. One person sells and the other buys and puts it in the safe. It has no impact on the market.”

In the end the Turkish people will be proven right

Yup looks that way to me. Very good articlfr form Macquire that says the same.
However, this time there is a difference. Institutional money is flowing into allocated physical gold globally, and this is changing the dynamics. The usual synthetic market wash-and-rinse cycle is breaking down as its drivers are anchored upon a fractional reserve unallocated bullion market structure, which is the equivalent of a Ponzi scheme.

What this is telling us is that the price drivers are now coming from the physical markets. Whereas up until now it has been Comex speculators that have heavily influenced global prices, this is now changing.

Its probably a good time to go over Precious Metals under Interest Blog, perhaps the paper gold bubble is stretching too thin

GLD added 163 tons, that is a laugh and joke. I would bet it is not gold in cloe but brown and has an awful smell to it
