Would you have any recommended reading on clouds?

My TA skills are weak at best so if anyone else wants to chime in with recommends in that area, it would be appreciated.

Gambler, first off any technical charting is not 100% accurate or we all could predict everything.

Candle sticks and clouds were perfected by the best Japanese traders because they measure investor emotions. Struthers has mentioned this many times, but he is not well known nor am i. You have to have opening and closing markets. It does not work for stocks and commodities that trade around the clock or extended hours.

Investor emotion is measured on where stocks open and close. anything can happen over night that effects the trading price so these charts measure what investors think about that, the opening price and trading range through the day, the close and next days open. Do i want to be long or short over night??

I see all these traders and day trading firms using candle sticks for 15 minute intervals and hour charts. They are idiots, it will never work very well, but they like to think so. It is only effective to measure trading by the day

This charting technique was not developed for anything other than daily open , close and range and direction, anything else. it will not be effective.

It works great for stocks and ETFs etc. that have a daily opening and closing prices.

Thanks Hoss, I have been following your chart comments for years. What I don't get is why you have been so accurate while many using the same candle stick and cloud charts are not near as good. What are they doing wrong, or you doing right??

lynnsa, I would not wait too long to buy, the cloud charts says the next explosive rally is coming any day now.

the stock is above a rising green cloud which is bullish for sure.

But what i am trying to point out with rising black arrows - when the CCI and STO bottom out the next up move comes very soon.

Fundamentally it makes sense because we know ZON could announce a drill program any day now and just 100k of buying would push the stock into the 40s

and who will sell when drills are turning on such a home run property. Just check out the 8 or 10 juniors that popped on drill results this month, all up 2 to 400%

GB agree, I picked up more stock in this correction and want to grab some more yet. Perfect time as things are quiet before drilling is announced. Could be announced any day now and the stock will probably head back to the 40s

Yes market is looking better and month end is done. ZON depth looking a lot better, not much on offer

Looking at Ron's report yesterday and market action today, looks like correction could be over. Sure was a scary October, should be better market environment for ZON and many others

Hope to see a NR about the PP this week.
