Here is a project (IOCG) that is similar to Cross Hills.

The grade is 0.3% copper, 0.04 g/t gold and 28% iron

Canada's Capstone Mining (TSX:CS) is considering selling a portion of its large scale 70%-ownedSanto Domingo copper-iron project in Chile, as part of a strategic process kicked off today after the release of a positive technical report.

The Vancouver-based company said the project, is located 50 km southwest of Codelco's El Salvador copper mine, said the report reveals that Santo Domingo has an after-tax net present value of $1.03-billion and an internal rate of return of 21.8%.

“This positive technical report reconfirms the value of Santo Domingo as a desirable copper-iron-gold project that has an approved environmental impact assessment in a mining-friendly jurisdiction with local community support," Capstone president and CEO Darren Pylot said in the statement.

Not sure on rig availability in NFLD, but I expect 1 rig to get started. NFLD also has exploration incentive, they refund the first $100,000 in drill costs, so in essence ZON will get 1 or 2 holes fro free

Thanks Lynssa, good thing there was music in the back ground. To me it seems logical that an area with all those iron mines and copper mines could have it together in one place, an IOCG system

NFLD was once the 6th largest copper producer in the world. There has been little modern exploration, The Voiseys Bay rush in the 1990s and the current one that has just got started. Here is a video I found on mining history. The voice is pretty boring, but hope everyone enjoys it.
