You're right alexgreat, was thinking of the drill results, if Zonte had 2.78% instead of 0.40% and 0.10%, the stock would have caught the attention of the market,

RonS says that an IOCG system, the grades are between 0.30% and 1%, wonder why 0.10% is considered as strong results, I guess, I don't understand how to evaluate those Zonte’s drill results,

was hoping grades around 0.79% and 1.19 %, maybe in the next drill program, I like it when Hoss predicts a JV maybe this year with a major for Cross Hills, at the same time, a JV in the Yukon would be great also !!!

ron, no comparison to Voisey Bay, 2 different types of systems, deposits. Voisey is nickle sulphides and Cross Hills is copper IOCG

I think the analogy Hoss is making that they are both new discoveries in an unexpected place that nobody thought of before and Zonte could create a staking rush like Voiseys at some point. They are also both in NFLD

When I look at the drill holes of Voiseys Bay, how can we compare with Zonte, their hole 8 had 2.78 % of copper, for now, Zonte has 0.40 %, do we need to see holes over 1.50 % of copper ?

Hole #7 was 104m long and had 3.9% nickel, 2.8% copper, and 0.14% cobalt. Hole #8 was 111m long and had 3.7% nickel, 2.78% copper, and 0.13% cobalt.

The wise man Hoss answered my call with an extraordinary post, one of the best, hope you're right wise man, because more than one shareholder will make a huge profit, me the first, here's the story of Voiseys Bay,

We have a rare opportunity, because nobody remembers Voisey Bay at least like I do.

Voiseys Bay was the biggest mining rush in Canadian history led by Friedlands Diamond Fields. It started out as copper sample but became a large nickle discovery based on a 30M or so drill intersect as the discovery hole in no other than NFLD/Labrador.

There were 200 t0 300 companies in the staking rush and the lowest valued one was probably about10 times Zontes value today. I made several 100% on a handful and I visited the mining camps buying drillers booze seeking inside info . I was on the front lines climbing big hills for cell reception to my broker and friends. Not like today's reception, lol

Struthers recommended Diamond Fields around $2 and it went to over $200 and Diamonds Field was bought out by Inco for over $4 billion or about $175 per share. I owned it just over $1.40. So ZON at $0.10 today would end up like $400.. Its not the good old days so I will take $40

The Diamond Fields discovery was luck because they were exploring for diamonds and spotted an outcrop from the helicopter on a return trip.

We have a huge advantage with Zonte because we have all this geological info on 12 targets and there is no way it can be spotted by a helicopter. Friedland and other majors would have messed their pants for this info back then.

I will bet anyone $1k a major does a deal with Zonte in the next 12 months, they are not stupid like some of the negative posters here.

I don't mean to be rude, but those that are negative really don't have much experience or a clue what they are talking about. They are simply talking an emotional response of history how the stock has done little. Do you look where an airplane is going by where it took off????

I don't care about the history of Zonte's stock only the future. Did anyone predict Nvidia after dropping from $350 in 2021 to $120 in 2022 would be over $800 today?Only fools predict the future in the rear view mirror.

History is not the future, but few can see the difference and that is how $$ are made. Based on the history I know, this stock will be an enormous winner in time.
With these drill results I am planning on increasing my position about 200%

Please, please put your shares up for sale!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe RonS will do another video with Terry talking about the results, at the same time, we would know if Terry is at PDAC.

ron, most companies at PDAC don't have a booth, there is a limited supply. Last time Zonte and most others have a hotel room.

I totally agree with Gambler. Advertising is useless. Drilling activity and good results will get noticed. Shareholders talk and they are your best promoters so give them something to talk about. There is so much information on most websites that I usually ignore all advertisements. Max Resources has had good surface results. The only drilling was a year ago and they stopped drilling so people lost interest. They have the potential for maybe four mines on the property but the share price will languish until they drill.

Zonte is in the right place in Newfoundland and some good drill results will have people thinking of New Found Gold. The property in the Yukon is surrounded by large productive mines. As I tell my grand daughters, PATIENCE!!

Good find Alex. Flynn I am happy Zonte is not promoting. It is just throwing away good cash in this market. Promo is totally useless now. Canadian retail investors are under a bus.

Check out Eureka, ERKA news releases, spent about US$1.2 million on promo over 6 months and the stock dropped -70% in those six months.

Also Max Power, MAXX spent about US$1 million promo from March 2023 until year end and the stock dropped -60% in this period.

I bought both stocks because of great properties and good management and thought promotion would work, what a mistake. In that same time period, Zone went no where, about even at 0% gain/loss but saved about C$1.3 million in promo that does nothing. That kind of $$ financed Zonte's last drill program and could finance the next one too.

Great treasury management by Christopher. I am sure he will be at PDAC this year, but meeting with the big miners. Will be interesting to get feed back on this years PDAC

Great new article from Sprott on Copper
sprott.com/insights/copper-wired-for-the...11-904c-6045bd5ef6ab

"Copper Supply Faces Challenges

While copper is abundant, mining it economically and efficiently is a challenge. Chile and Peru, the top copper-producing countries, are grappling with labor strikes and protests, compounded by declining ore grades. Russia, ranked seventh in copper production, faces an expected decline due to the ongoing war in Ukraine. Despite efforts by miners to ramp up production, many analysts anticipate a widening supply imbalance."

Looks like copper goes into supply deficit this year. Sprott report also comments

"Capital for the exploration and development of copper mines peaked at $26.13 billion in 2013. Since then, it has almost halved and remained low, with only $14.42 billion spent in 2022. Despite a slight 0.1% decrease in development capital expenditure for copper projects in 2022, a more significant drop of 18.7% is projected for 2023.11

Copper Miners May Offer Opportunities

The anticipated supply-demand dynamic may suggest a strong performance for copper in a bull market."

Could a JV be done sooner than later ?

Wonder what Hoss and Goldman are thinking, now, where do we go from here, another financing, and the day Zonte starts drilling again in the Yukon, drill results should be strong there also.
