Here is a great article on progress or lack of on the Gold and Silver manipulation court case.

comexwehaveaproblem.blogspot.ca/2016/09/hanging-by-thread.html

Interesting their last line of defence near the bottom, they compare to aluminum that the price manipulation did not affect aluminum producers. Sort of admitting to silver manipulation but does not matter

Same song, different dance. Seems we keep going over the same thing. Gold is weak going into Fed meetings with fears of a rate hike and then they back off and Gold moves higher.

To me is is just a game of same old same old. Most likely the bankster traders are just making fluff to move the markets up and down for them to trade for profits. And the shills all believe what the Fed might do actually matters

Gold prices are markedly higher this week with the precious metal up 2.26% to trade at 1339 ahead of the New York close on Friday. The rally marks the largest weekly advance since mid-June & the largest weekly range since late-July and comes amid a sharp pullback in the greenback, prompted by Wednesday’s Fed interest rate decision.

The FOMC decided to hold interest rates this week as expected but reduced their outlook for future rate hikes. The focus has shifted from the timing of the next rate-hike, to the overall pace of trajectory of monetary policy moving forward. Indeed the updated interest rate dot-plot saw committee members lower expectations for both the 2017 median estimates as well as the longer-run terminal rate. The dollar came under substantial pressure and fueled demand for gold as a store of wealth amid continued easing by the world’s largest central banks. As it stands, Fed Fund Futures remain largely unchanged with expectations still heavily weighted towards a December rate-hike.

Nice move in Gold and the PM stocks today. The Fed continues down the clueless road

All indications point toward a continuation of the abnormally low interest rate policies by the BOJ, ECB and FOMC. Central bank credibility has taken a hit lately, and today’s announcements both here in the US and by the BOJ have not done anything to solidify what has become an extremely fragile confidence in the leaders of the globe’s major central banks. Lower rates for longer and continued weakness in global GDP growth should benefit precious metals prices on a ‘safe haven bid’.

Here is an excellent 3 part series article on how computers are spoofing the gold and silver market. I will put this post up on a few other related topics. Spoofing ii used to make it look like there are more sellers or more buyers.

Manipulators may put up buy orders to entice others to do so and then sell to them.

Sept 13th
Between 3:30 - 4:30 ET in Silver futures today, a 100 contract buy order was placed/canceled 207 times.

During this same period, a 100 contract sell order was placed/canceled 246 times

Seems to be plenty of Gold Bulls - Data from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission indicate net long bets on gold for the week ending Sept.6 rose to nearly 308,000 contracts up from 276,300 contracts in the week prior. That is the highest level in two months.

Some analysts still believe that is possible gold ascends to $1,500 per troy ounce. Gold bullion prices have surged almost 20% this year as the Fed previously signaled it would slow the pace of interest rate normalization this year – higher interest rates typically weigh on gold prices since the hard asset provide no yield and would become less attractive to higher-yielding conservative debt assets in a rising rate environment.

Fed funds futures imply limited probability the central bank will raise rates later this month, leading some market observers to say that, at most, there will be just one rate hike this year. Even that happens, some bond traders believe the Fed will not raise rates again until late 2017.

The Golden Rule - "who has the gold rules"

England was the world power house in the 1800s and early 1990s and held most of the gold.

WW1 and WWW2 seen massive amounts of gold move from London and Europe to the USA before the Germans could take it.

For the last several years, Gold has steadily been moving from western economies and the USA to the East, mostly China and India. I think it is a good idea to see what China gold bars look like because it is only a matter of time, they dominate the market

welcome Plumber, seen the news feed, good stuff

Gold prices are moderately lower in mid-morning trading Friday. The precious metals are seeing some price pressure as the U.S. dollar index has firmed up and is trading at its daily high following some hawkish comments from a Federal Reserve official Friday morning.

And check this out extensive research about the IMF selling Gold in 2010/11

www.bullionstar.com/blogs/ronan-manly/im...rency-means-secrecy/

What a waste of time, all this was just BS as the IMF was part of the rescue the markets team, so they were just trying to talk down the Gold price with Bogus sales, that just ended up as book entries

What a Fn joke
