Economists expect non-farm payrolls to expand by 250K jobs in July, lower than the 372K seen in the previous month.
Economists are clueless. The number came in at 528k, a booming job market. Int rates going way higher. Probably market tumbles today??

The job market slowed in May with 390,000 jobs added. It is the smallest growth rate in a year but still beating expectations
Economists estimaed 325,000 jobs for May.May's number is down from 428,000 jobs added in both March and April

The U.S. added 428,000 jobs in April and the unemployment remained at 3.6%, according to Bureau of Labor Statistics released this morning. I think that will be viewed as adding inflation pressure

Gambler, you had the right idea and very close. The number came in at 431K
US Treasuries are already on course to post their worst quarter since at least 1973 after the Fed raised interest rates for the first time since 2018 this month in its attempt to battle inflation, which is running at its highest level in 40 years.
