High! Canada Magazine contributor Phil Wong had an opportunity to speak with Chuck Riici, formerly of CEO Tweed (now Canopy Growth) and CFO of the Liberal Party. Currently, he is the Chairman and CEO of Cannabis Wheaton Income Corp, and Founder and CEO of Nesta Holding Co.

It was a “once in a lifetime opportunity” where you have a brand new industry that gets created, but where demand is obviously incredibly well known. It was attractive for those two reasons.

You look at some of these other sites like Stockhouse, they just don't get it.

Canopy sold 5,139 Kgs in fiscal 2016 and has a market cap of around $1 billion (after a stock correction).

CBW can get a production share in this Evergreen deal alone of 5,000 Kgs, about the same as Canopy current production.

Therefore could sport a similar market cap.

CBW does not have to be successful on every deal or even if they fail to raise any more $$. Just 1 to 3 of these streams become real and the stock can be multiples of the current price.

More share dilution to 500 million shares and $1B market cap is $2

Mr. Shawn Galbraith of Evergreen reports

EVERGREEN MEDICINAL SUPPLY COMMENCES CULTIVATION PURSUANT TO ACMPR LICENSE, ENTERS INTO WHOLESALE SUPPLY AGREEMENT WITH LICENSED PRODUCER, AND ENTERS INTO FUNDING AGREEMENT WITH CANNABIS WHEATON

Evergreen Medicinal Supply Inc. has commenced cultivation of medical cannabis at its licensed facility, pursuant to its ACMPR (access to cannabis for medical purposes regulations) licence from Health Canada, granted on March 16, 2017.

Evergreen's founder and chief executive officer, Shawn Galbraith, commented: "The beginning of actual medical cannabis cultivation at our facility, which features a diversified strain selection, is another significant milestone for Evergreen Medicinal Supply. It is the intent of Evergreen to imminently apply for additional permitted activities to our ACMPR licence at the earliest available opportunity, including the selling of dried cannabis flower and the cultivation and sale of cannabis oil, as permitted under the ACMPR."

Evergreen has recently entered into a wholesale sales agreement with another licensed producer under the ACMPR program. Pursuant to this agreement, Evergreen has agreed to sell, on a wholesale basis, up to 30 kilograms of bulk-dried cannabis a month. Mr. Galbraith commented, "The starting of cannabis cultivation in concert with entering into a wholesale sales contract with a high-performing licensed producer accelerates Evergreen's development and provides a clear path to predictable revenue." Together, these activities fortify Evergreen as it begins to operate under its licence and plans for its significant facility expansion anticipated commencing in 2017.

Evergreen Medicinal Supply recently entered into an interim agreement with Cannabis Wheaton Income Corp. Pursuant to this agreement, Cannabis Wheaton will invest the sum of $25-million into Evergreen. The proceeds will be deployed to finance the construction of a 150,000-square-foot purpose-built cannabis cultivation facility providing an additional 75,000 square feet of growing area (building 2) to be operated by Evergreen. Cannabis Wheaton will receive shares in Evergreen equivalent to 6.6 per cent of the corporation's current outstanding shares. Cannabis Wheaton will additionally receive a stream equal to the lesser of: (i) 33 per cent of the total cannabis production generated within building 2; or (ii) five million grams of cannabis per year from building 2. This stream will commence upon Evergreen providing Cannabis Wheaton with its first allocation under this agreement and then continues for a fixed term of 10 years. Mr. Galbraith commented, "The interim agreement entered into with Cannabis Wheaton has secured for Evergreen the capital necessary to begin construction of one of the largest purpose-built indoor cannabis production facilities in the world. Building 2 will allow Evergreen to increase production to 30,000 kilograms of dried cannabis per year. We anticipate that building 2 will be completed by the summer of 2018. This expansion provides Evergreen with the production footprint to meet the overwhelming demand anticipated for our products over the years to come."

I would bet some of that 10% free trading came out, but most was already shorted ahead of time, probably what Cannacord and Eight Capital had, watch short position drop as the cover with free trading paper. Same thing we seen in ZON

Mr. Chuck Rifici reports

CANNABIS WHEATON REPORTS NO MATERIAL CHANGE AND NOTES LOCKUPS

Cannabis Wheaton Income Corp.'s management is unaware of any material change in the company's operations that would account for the recent significant share price depreciation, following the successful closing of $50.25-million in the first tranche of its financing.

The Company notes that approximately 90% of the securities issued under private placements completed respectively on March 10, 2017 and March 17, 2017, and qualified to trade without restriction as at July 10, 2017 and July 17, 2017, are subject to voluntary 12-month lockup and escrow agreements. Information to the contrary has been widely disseminated.

Chuck Rifici commented, "As a life-long entrepreneur I am always disappointed when people try to tear things down rather than build them. The success of Cannabis Wheaton has made the Company a target for the spread of a great deal of deliberate misinformation easily delivered in the digital age, and with an unacceptable impact on our supporters. We are focused on continuing to implement our vision and actively defending ourselves against elements wishing to destroy value for our shareholders and stakeholders across the country."
