Great interview that explains the tech very well and the huge potential

omny.fm/shows/jeff-mcarthur/this-company...canada-pass-paris-cl

The interviewer explained that he had only recently became aware of dynaCERT Inc. and its HydraGENTM technology/product after being notified by a listener. He described HydraGENTM as follows; "a box, about the size of a suitcase is installed on the back of diesel trucks that fly our highways, and if it is installed, at a cost of ~$6,500, it cuts carbon emissions ~50%, NOx emissions (read hazardous noxious emissions) by ~60%, and it also improves your fuel consumption by somewhere between 10% & 20%. Which means that if you spend the $6500 to put it on the truck you are going to pay for it over the course of the first year -- ~5,000L/year for average long-haul transport trucks, you do the math."

The following are excerpts from the interview:

Q. Jeff McArthur Global News: "I'm wondering where this is going ... If this is out there, and I'm talking to you Jim Payne, the CEO of [dynaCERT] HydraGENTM [the product], how come it is not on every truck?"
A. dynaCERT Inc. CEO: "That's a great question and I anticipate it's just a matter time before it will be. ..."

The CEO carries on to explain how the industry is always innovating, and gives examples of past innovations that have improved performance to trucks that were eventually adopted across the entire industry.

Q. Jeff McArthur Global News: "Apparently you're using electrolysis in a novel way to do this with what 's going on in that box?"
A. dynaCERT Inc. CEO: "Well that's absolutely right, it is a very unique electrolysis system, it is patented. What it does is it produced pure hydrogen and pure oxygen, but the important thing ... there has been white papers going back 50 years proving the fact trace amounts of hydrogen and oxygen enhance the burn of an internal combustion engine, the problem has always been there is a sweet-spot; you have to have the right mixture or you get negative effects. We have spent over 15 years and $60 million to perfect this, to get this where it is a fully computerized system where it takes information from the engine, learns from it and determines the exact flow rate that's required to enhance that burn."

Q. Jeff McArthur Global News: "So essentially you are saying that in that suitcase there is some kind of computing apparatus that uses software that says 'I'm going to constantly measure, I'm going to constantly adjust?'"
A. dynaCERT Inc. CEO: "That is right, it is not unlike a smart-phone, and this is something that is learning all the time. But what it does more, above and beyond that, it take the information ... as soon as you bolt and get it onto your truck, it takes the historical data from that, determines what the baseline is and then it shows in real-time the fuel savings and the reductions in CO2 from that day forward ... it's like a management system on steroids ... it takes a fleet-management system plus plus plus. So this is not us saying this, it is the engine giving the hard real-time data that is proving this."

Q. Jeff McArthur Global News: "Okay, if you can cut carbon emissions by 50% and the noxious emissions [NOx] -- the hazardous emissions by 88% and you can save me a bunch of fuel -- this is something I would have to say is needed. Aside from the fact you are sitting and talking to me and presumably other media about it, what are you doing about marketing it? Because you obviously have statistics that say that if this were equipped on pretty well all of the diesel trucks flying the highways of Ontario, and much less to say Canada, we would make significant in-roads in the amount of greenhouse gasses escaping into the atmosphere."
A. dynaCERT Inc. CEO: "Well absolutely, there are stats showing that 25% of all greenhouse gasses in Canada are produced by the transportation industry. Now we have gone to great extremes, firstly to protect this product, but then to have it proven world-wide; be it thru ICAT in India, Pit Group here in Canada, to TUV North and South in Germany -- where we just got homologation in Germany, which is literally the most stringent testing facility in the world. The European's are now just all over this because every day you read the newspapers over there, it's a war against NOx."

Q. Jeff McArthur Global News: "So I would be surprised to hear, if you told me, and I'm going to try and ask you this question without putting you on the spot ... I'd be surprised if you hadn't done a fair amount of calculating -- What kind of dent would this make if this were on every truck on the roads in Canada? What kind a dent would this make in our efforts to improve the overall quality of the air and address the climate change aspect that is environmental?"
A. dynaCERT Inc. CEO: "Well, if say 1/3 of the trucks in Canada adopt this right now, Canada would meet or exceed its goals for the Paris Accord literally overnight."

DynaCert could dominate the world as a very significant reducer of green house gases. Check today's news on numerous test results

dynaCERT’s New HG2 Model Achieves an A+ in School Bus Trials

TORONTO, Sept. 11, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- dynaCERT Inc. (TSX VENTURE: DYA) (OTCQB: DYFSF) (FRA: DMJ) is pleased to report on the notable field trial results of the Company’s new HG2 HydraGEN™ Technology as verified through the Company’s proprietary HydraLytica™ telematics device.

The smaller HG2 on-demand hydrogen delivery system complements the Company’s well-established HG1 models. While the HG1 models are appropriate for larger diesel displacement engines of 8 to 16 Litres, the newest HG2 model opens up dynaCERT’s market for the smaller displacement diesel engines and, possibly in the future, for gasoline engines.

School Bus Trials in Ontario, Canada

In July 2019, the HG2 units were installed on two Taylor-brand School Buses, a 2005 and 2015, each powered by a 6.7 Litre diesel engine, each engine from a different manufacturer. The buses were used on school bus itineraries in Southern Ontario and accumulated more than 2,000 kilometres (driving stop and go along typical school bus routes) during the 2-month proof-of-concept period. The data from the HydraLytica™ telematics device recorded that the buses achieved an average reduction in fuel consumption of 13.8% and 15.5%, respectively. Of significance, the NOx levels were reduced 48% and 52%, respectively. The NOx level was measured by a Portable Emissions Measuring System (PEMS). The PEMS measured the exhaust at the end of the tailpipe where it most affects the immediate air environment at the ground level near where school children might be exposed to NOx, a dangerous, deadly gas emitted by diesel engines.

Approximately 18,000 School Buses travel 2 million kilometres in Ontario, every school day.

According to a 2014 National Association for Pupil Transportation report, School Bus carriers operate the largest mass transportation fleet in the USA. Each day, 480,000 yellow school buses travel the roads in the USA. This is a very significant market for dynaCERT when compared to the 140,000 total transit vehicles, 96,000 of which are buses; the motor coach industry, with 35,000 buses; commercial airlines with 7,400 airplanes; and rail with 1,200 passenger railcars.

Passenger Vehicle – Diesel

Another dynaCERT HG2 unit was installed in June 2019 on a 2013 luxury passenger SUV vehicle with a 3.0 Litre diesel engine as is typical for such vehicles. The vehicle had an odometer reading of 225,000 kilometres (140,000 miles) and a baseline fuel consumption of 8.1 Litres per 100 kilometres (29 mpg) without dynaCERT’s HydraGEN™ Technology. The fuel consumption, in the trial period of July and August 2019, was reduced when used with dynaCERT’s HydraGEN™ Technology to an average of 7.1 Litres per 100 (33.2mpg) over the 8-week period. The lowest fuel consumption with the HydraGEN™ Technology recorded was 6.3 Litres per 100 kilometres (37.4mpg) after the break-in period.

In North America there were approximately 8.1 million diesel powered passenger vehicles on the road in 2015.

Passenger Vehicle – Gasoline Engines

In September 2019, the HG2 unit was installed on a 2012 passenger 4-door sedan with a 3.5 Litre gasoline engine. The vehicle lifetime baseline fuel consumption of 12.3 Litres per hundred kilometres (L/100 km) (19.1 mpg) over a distance of approximately 2200 kilometres (1350 miles). The fuel consumption was reduced 11% to an average of 11.1 Litres per hundred kilometres (L/100 km) (or 21.2 mpg).

In 2017, in North America there were approximately 275 million gasoline powered passenger vehicles on the road.

Corporate Statement

Robert Maier, COO and Chief Engineer for dynaCERT stated: “The opportunity for HydraGEN™ Technology units to be installed on all types of engines opens the market potential for dynaCERT to be a significant world-wide contributor to the reduction of Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHG’s). When our HydraGEN™ units include our HydraLytica™ telematics for Carbon Credit reporting, we can truly provide the transportation industry with a recurring revenue generating device that helps save the planet.”

About the HG2

The HG2 unit is appropriate for those smaller displacement engines used in Buses, Refrigerated Trailers and Containers, Mobile Construction Equipment, Small Generators and Smaller Trucks commonly found outside of North America, such as in European countries and in India. This market size represents approximately 20 million applications in North America and similar sized market opportunities in each of the European and Asian markets.

Multi-billion dollar valuation set for dynaCERT Inc. (V.DYA), pieces falling into place

dynaCERT Inc. (TSX VENTURE: DYA) (OTCQB: DYFSF) (FRA: DMJ)this week announced it has received its European ABE (German for “permit of operation”) certification for the Company’s HydraGEN™ (HG) Carbon Emission Reduction Technology for diesel engines. The ABE now finally allows dynaCERT’s HG units to be installed on vehicles in the European Union and many other areas globally. In anticipation of receiving the ABE, over the last year, dynaCERT had been nurturing several trials and relationships in various related jurisdictions and with interested high-level entities. The ABE marks a major milestone for the Company and should translate into a substantial increase in sales and accelerate the adoption curve for the technology. Diesel engines are the backbone/lifeblood of all advanced economies globally and this technology is increasingly being embraced as win-win by everyone; big oil, environmentalists, businesses in all sectors, governments of all levels, and the population base of cities plagued by air pollution that increasingly demand social reasonability and clean air to breath.

European TUV testing of dynaCERT HG units verify emission reduction in NOx of ~55%+, CO of 50%, and particulate matter of 75%, all while saving fuel, providing better torque, and lowering maintenance costs. TUV is facilitated by the Federal Motor Transport Authority in Germany which does testing in the EU (its findings were used by the KBA for ABE). Applications for the ABE Type Approval that dynaCERT sought must meet stringent testing and validations required by rigorous and exacting regulation in Germany. dynaCERT’s HG technology is the only hydrogen gas supply system that has ever been approved by KBA and received Homologation for the ABE Type Approval. dynaCERT is sitting as “best-of-breed” without any comparable competition, with barriers to entry that are extremely high from a validation hard-data and reputational standpoint, in a market hungry for what it offers. dynaCERT has taken ~10 years, spent >$50 million developing its technology, and has proven world-wide (in numerous rigorous high-level government and private testing programs) eye-popping results for its product for diesel engines which reduces pollution very significantly, but at the same time improves fuel economy on average 10% to 15%.

Figure 1. (above) dynaCERT HG1 unit on diesel transport truck.

The market capitalization (~293M shares outstanding after recent warrants exercised X current share price) of dynaCERT is currently only ~C$145 million, many believe the Company appears destined to become a multi-billion dollar company as the adoption curve and growth trajectory for its technology continues to gain momentum, and as HG technology expands across all market segments; road transport, mining and agricultural equipment, rail, marine, and power generation globally.

So impressive is the HG technology dynaCERT won the 2019 German Innovation Awards prize for Energy Solutions, additionally, dynaCERT is the Gold Award from ESQR in Germany, and is the Gold Medal winner of the prestigious 2018 Edison Award for Best New Product.

Besides the aforementioned ABE, the Company has also so far this month announced four other news releases of significance;

1) providing significant updates related to the advancement of its intellectual property related to its on-board on-demand hydrogen injection systems for diesel engines and carbon credits,

2) launching of its new HG2 line of on-board on-demand hydrogen injection system for diesel engines,

3) that its reseller KarbonKleen has increased its initial order to 400 HG units, and

4) dynaCERT announced that many new important mining initiatives are advancing favourably.

Additionally of note, this summer-2019, dynaCERT announced that it has received a purchase order with a deposit for 100 HG1 units destined for trucking in Mexico from a major service provider for its client, Alliance, which supplies trucking equipment to one of the largest federation of labour unions in Mexico. Alliance has a market of over 1,000,000 diesel-operated vehicles in Mexico. Also, associated with the order, dynaCERT signed an MOU whereby the first 10,000 units destined for Mexico are expected to be assembled by dynaCERT in its Toronto facilities, and dynaCERT will begin negotiations for the establishment an assembly facility in Mexico. Initially this new facility will service further Mexican demand for up to 1 million more.

The following are the various units and related market segments of dynaCERT:

A) HG1 4.5T Unit & HG1 2.5T Unit targets diesel truck market & buses (class 6 - 8 engines). The trucking market has been dynaCERT’s main focus to date.

B) HG2 Unit targets refrigeration container & light truck market; dynaCERT's HG2 unit was officially launched August 21, 2019 and is ideal for refrigerated trailers. The HG-2 unit is smaller than the HG-1 unit. The H2 can also be used to service smaller trucks, buses and smaller trucks commonly found outside of North America, such as in European countries and in India.

C) HG3 Unit targets large stationary power generator, marine, & rail market. (HG3 unit; 6,000hp - 30,000hp engines).

D) HG4C and 6C models designed for the mining and agriculture industry.

E) Carbon Credits -- dynaCERT has initiated the world-wide process of Carbon Credit applications for its HG Technology and engaged International Environmental Partners Limited of the UK to assist the Company in this regard.

Synopsis of HG technology and its Smart-ECU controller:dynaCERT’s technology is packaged into a small compartment that fits on the side of a diesel engine powered truck. dynaCERT calls their units ‘HydraGEN’ (TM) or ‘HG’ for short. The unit interfaces with the truck engine’s computer and uses electrolysis to turn distilled water into pure (elemental) H2 & pure O2 gases (individually). The HG technology acts as a catalyst; hydrogen has a 9 to 10 times flame spread which helps the engine burn diesel more completely, resulting in more power, less carbon fouling, and a reduction in pollutants. This HG technology is controlled by a smart-ECU (the brains of the unit that interfaces with a truck engine’s computer) which can record the fuel savings and emission reductions while in operation, and provide an audit trail, essentially a greenhouse gas tracking system with the ability to account for future carbon credits. dynaCERT has several related worldwide patents. David Bridge, one of the original developers from Virgin Mobile, and also formerly of Research in Motion (known for the Blackberry), is the brains behind dynaCERT’s Smart-ECU. The CERT in dynaCERT stands for “Combustion Emission Reduction Technology”.
