Sounds like the ramp up of Equinox Greenstone mine is going slower than expected. From news yesterdayGreg Smith, President & CEO of Equinox Gold, stated: “Since achieving commercial production at Greenstone in Q4 2024, the ramp-up has been slower than planned. Mine productivity and equipment availability, particularly with the primary loading fleet, have fallen short of plan, impacting mining rates and delaying access to higher-grade ore zones. Further, year-to-date mined grades have been below expectations, in part due to higher-than-anticipated dilution. On the processing side, while we are seeing improvements in throughput and recovery, year-to-date performance is also below plan. We are addressing the shortfalls and are revising Greenstone full-year production guidance to 220,000 to 260,000 ounces of gold. Reflecting this change, some refinements to our other assets and the anticipated completion of the business combination with Calibre, consolidated pro forma 2025 guidance is 785,000 to 915,000 ounces of gold at an AISC of $1,800 to $1,900 per ounce, excluding Valentine and Los Filos. For Q2 2025, we expect consolidated production of 135,000 to 145,000 ounces of gold from Equinox Gold mines, including 45,000 to 50,000 ounces from Greenstone. Calibre’s Q2 2025 production is estimated at 70,000 to 72,500 ounces of gold. Full-year Calibre and pro forma consolidated guidance is included below to provide visibility into the scale of the combined company.”

Another great pick RonS, I am up over 150% and main stream analysts just catching on nowThe Globe and Mail reports in its Tuesday edition that analysts have raised their earnings forecasts for New Gold, while also touting its value characteristics. The Globe’s guest columnist Anthony Menard writes in the Number Cruncher column that New Gold is a stock with positive analyst sentiment. New Gold is a Canadian gold mining company that has surged 138.1 per cent over the past year, driven in part by a about 40-per-cent rise in gold prices to about $3,300 (U.S.) per ounce from around $2,300 (U.S.). Analyst sentiment has turned notably positive, with earnings estimates increasing by 27.3 per cent over the past 90 days.

GB, thanks for staring this. I bought some shares and seems the company thinks they are cheap too. Last week they announced a share buy backFreehold Royalties Ltd.’s notice of intention to commence a normal course issuer bid (the NCIB).
Under the NCIB, Freehold may purchase up to 13,699,733 common shares (representing approximately 10 per cent of the company’s 163,960,334 issued and outstanding shares as of May 14, 2025, less shares held by directors, executive officers and principal securityholders (holders holding greater than 10 per cent of the issued and outstanding shares) of the company). Any shares that are purchased under the NCIB will be cancelled upon their purchase by Freehold. The total number of shares that Freehold is permitted to purchase is subject to a daily purchase limit of 185,656 shares, representing 25 per cent of the average daily trading volume of 742,626 shares on the TSX calculated for the six-month period ended April 30, 2025; however, Freehold may make one block purchase per calendar week which exceeds the daily repurchase restrictions.
The NCIB is expected to commence on May 27, 2025,
