Came in at 559K, so a bit of a miss as you suggested

Economists expect the report to show that non-farm payrolls increased by 650,000 jobs, marking a significant acceleration from last month's tepid gains. The unemployment rate is also expected to have fallen to 5.9%, from 6.1% in the prior month, while average hourly earnings likely rose 0.2%, after gaining 0.7% in April.

Don't forget XMAS seasonal hiring, well at least at Amazon lol I say +50k

Consensus estimates see 75,000 jobs added last month, less than a third of November's gains, as the coronavirus spread rapidly across the U.S. A number of Wall Street firms even see negative job growth, with predictions from Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, Credit Suisse and Barclays ranging from a loss of 25,000 to 50,000 positions.

The U.S. economy added 245,000 jobs in November, as the unemployment rate fell to 6.7 percent, according to data released Friday by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Economists had predicted the economy would gain around 440,000 jobs.

Amid a fresh surge in coronavirus cases and a new round of shutdowns, Friday's figure represents the fifth straight month of decelerating job gains. It is by far the lowest monthly total since the economy started its halting recovery.
